Before the fence installation begins...
It is essential to get your property’s survey of location to make sure the fence is being installed on the property line. You are responsible for all costs and maintenance if you select and purchase a fence that borders a neighbor.
Fences purchased jointly with a neighbor require shared approvals throughout the installation.
PROPERTY BOUNDARIES
An updated survey of location helps establish the exact boundary of your land. Painted wooden stakes or buried metal rod markers are set by a land surveyor before installation to identify the property border.
Important It is not mandatory to have a property boundary marked if it is not a new construction. However, the established property border will need to be confirmed by the owner of the premises.
